The Live It Up! on Hillsborough Street festival, which celebrated the completion of the 10 million dollar streetscape redevelopment project earned a Neighborhood Recognition Award from the Raleigh Citizens Advisory Council.
The Streetscape redevelopment project won the 2011 Outstanding Planning Award from the NC Chapter of the American Planning Association.
