Tuijunia Keech
Tourism

Tuijunia is a senior at NC State majoring in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a concentration in Program Management. She is very excited to be graduating in May 2012! Tuijunia is in the process of planning a haunted house for Halloween on Hillsborough Street to coincide with the Hillsborough Street Hike.  When she is not fulfilling her duties as a full time intern for HSCSC she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and attending events on Hillsborough Street. She loves learning new things and while interning hopes to make new friends and see brighter smiles on Hillsborough Street. She would like to help increase the growth of Hillsborough Street and Live it Up!

 

 

Lindsay Froggatt
Tourism

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Lindsay is a sophomore at North Carolina State University majoring in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism with a concentration in Tourism and Commercial Recreation. Her minor will focus on Coaching Education with a concentration in basketball and volleyball. During her time at NCSU Lindsay is actively involved with campus crusades, the wolf pack club, and an array of different intramural sports. While interning for HSCSC, Lindsay is working closely with the event planner on many different sporting events here on Hillsborough Street including “Beat the Bearcats”.  She is proud to be a student at N.C. State…GO PACK!

 

 

 

Stephanie Shytle
Communication

A senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Media, Stephanie is a new member to the HSCSC intern team.  Her duties at HSCSC include writing press releases, editing website content, and updating various Facebook pages for the organization.  Stephanie is a native of Sunset Beach, North Carolina and grew up with a love for surfing and all things ocean related.  During her years at NCSU, Stephanie has been a member of the women’s choir as well as an avid supporter of Wolfpack athletics.  Stephanie has a personal connection with Hillsborough Street as she has been employed at That’s Amores pizza and hopes to see the street thrive.  Upon graduating, she hopes to land a job in the communication field that will afford her the opportunity to travel.  In her spare time she enjoys singing, running, hanging out with friends, and, of course, Living it up on Hillsborough Street!

 

 

Leah Haile
Design


Leah Haile is a Junior in Graphic Design at North Carolina State University. As an intern with HSCSC, she is responsible for updating website content as well as designing advertisements and print material for Hillsborough Street events. Leah is an Asheville, North Carolina native, and loves the arts, festivals, and enjoying warm weather. She serves as the Public Relations chair for New Sense Studios and is the co-chair of the North Carolina Freshtival. After graduation in 2013, she would like to pursue a master's degree in Strategic Event Management, or maybe take some time off of school to work and/or travel. In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike and spending time with friends.

 

 

Katherine Trapp
Business

Katherine Trapp is a junior in Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain and a minor in accounting. This year she has become involved at NC State by serving on the Student Media Board of Directors and as Publicity Chair for the Wolf Village Neighborhood Association. Katherine has lived in Raleigh for the majority of her life.  She has always loved Hillsborough Street and is excited to have the opportunity to join the HSCSC team to help better and support it. So far as an intern at HSCSC she has enjoyed doing small projects like researching and contacting student apartments for advertising future events and also creating a Flickr for photos of the 9/11 paintings on Hillsborough Street. Outside of school she works at Ann Taylor Loft and enjoys spending time with friends and, of course, going to football games. Go Pack!

 

Taylor Nelson
Communication

Taylor Nelson is a senior in Communications-Media at NCSU. She is a Co-Captain for the Women's Club Ultimate Frisbee team.  When she has some free time she enjoys taking her dog, adopted from the Wake County Animal Shelter, to the dog park.  She aspires to one day work in television or film production. As an intern at Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation Taylor take pictures at the events we put on, and will be creating small digital videos for the website.

 

 

 

Ashley Merrill
Tourism

Ashley is a senior at NC State majoring in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a concentration in Tourism and Commercial Recreation.  She is part of the NCA of Festivals and Events and a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.  Ashley is working closely with HSCSC and the committees of Art to Wear to create events on Hillsborough Street, and help market their event that will be held in the spring of 2012.  A native of Asheville, North Carolina Ashley enjoys frequenting concerts, theme parks, and the beach during her free time. She is very excited about working with Hillsborough Street and cannot wait for the upcoming events!

 

 

 

Paul Kiwanuka
Tourism



Paul Kiwanuka is a senior at NCSU working towards a degree in parks and recreation as well as business. Originally from Raleigh, NC, Paul is an avid supporter of the Wolfpack. During his free time he enjoys watching his favorite professional sports teams play.  Some of these teams include the Carolina Panthers, the Indiana Pacers, and Chelsea FC.  His duties at HSCSC include planning various events on Hillsborough Street.  His most recent accomplishment was Beat the Bearcats and he is currently working on an event for East Village. 

 

 

Arturo Rojas-Holmquist
Business 


 

Arturo Rojas-Holmquist, was born in Merida, Venezuela (part of the South American Andes) and lived there for part of his life. Upon his arrival to the United States, Arturo has lived in various states including Mississippi and Alabama.  At NCSU he is hoping his studies will afford him the opportunity to pursue a career in Marketing and Brand Management. When he is not interning or studying, he likes to hang out with friends, play soccer, and travel.  Arturo’s interest in Marketing is what attracted him to HSCSC and he has taken this opportunity to work on various projects for Hillsborough Street.  He is glad to be a part of making the street an iconic destination in Raleigh!

 

 

Katie Seagrave
Business

Katie Seagrave is a junior in Accounting with a Financial Analysis concentration at NC State University. While interning at HSCSC, Katie has worked on several different business-related projects including creating business proposals for the redesign of the banners along Hillsborough Street. Currently, Katie is researching demographic trends for the area and is helping launch a new to-go ordering app called Spoonfire. She is a Beta Alpha Psi candidate and enjoys volunteering with the other members. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends, swim and fish at the lake, eat good food and attend football games. After graduation, Katie plans to get her Masters in Accounting, become a CPA and work for a public accounting firm.
