The North Carolina State Fairgrounds hosts more than 600 events per year in 400,000 square feet of building space on 344 acres at the corner of Hillsborough Street and Blue Ridge Road.
The Annual NC State Fair starts the second week in October and runs for two weeks. The annual Got to Be NC Festival is in May. Other big events include the annual Greek Festival and weekly Flea Market every Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
