The Partnership reserves positions on its Board for student representation and works hard to collaborate with Student Government and media outlets. Although many students spend only a few years living near or visiting Hillsborough Street, the community has expressed a strong desire to reach out to the student population, letting them know they are welcome and appreciated.
Area business leaders and residents work with students to organize the Partnership’s annual Spring Clean-up and look to play an increased role in events like Student Orientation, the Homecoming Parade, and the Taste of Hillsborough Street Festival.
