The diversity and friendly atmosphere of the neighborhoods surrounding Hillsborough Street have established our community as unique amongst the many throughout Raleigh. Many of the surrounding neighborhoods have been designated as historic and great efforts are made to preserve the qualities of beauty and community as we move forward as a Partnership.
Residents are represented in the Hillsborough Street Partnership through their respective Neighborhood Community Action Committees (CAC’s) or the smaller Neighborhood Associations. The Partnership works most closely with the Wade and Hillsborough CAC’s, which encompass most of Hillsborough Street. Additionally, the Partnership communicates with representatives of the University Park, Cameron Park and Stanhope Village Neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to become involved with the Partnership through their CAC and Neighborhood representatives.
For more information on your own neighborhood association or CAC, use the City of Raleigh’s Neighborhoods page.
Regular public forums are held for the purpose of informing residents of the Partnership’s work and collecting direct input and suggestions for how the community’s collective vision can better serve everyone.
