Stroll Around the Street

The Clean & Safe Ambassadors placed several American flags out this week to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Take a stroll down Hillsborough Street to see the flags and spend some time at the NC State Memorial Belltower.

 

 

 

 

Oak City Comedy Festival Improv Showcase

Three of our street venues have been taking part in the First Oak City Comedy Festival this week! The event wraps this weekend, which includes several events at both Goodnights Comedy Club and ComedyWorx.

Goodnights Comedy Club Special Event: D.L. Hughley 
May 25-27 | General Admission: $35

One of The Original Kings of Comedy, D.L. Hughley is performing at Goodnights Comedy Club this Memorial Day Weekend. An iconic radio personality and actor, Hughley is sure to entertain, so don’t hesitate to reserve your seat. The Factory will also be open for reservations if you want to do dinner and a show, so call for a reservation today! 

 

Raleigh Brewing Company: Pints and Poses
May 27 | Cost: $10 per class
Yoga - 10:30 a.m. | Pints - Noon

Get a little zen this Memorial Day weekend with Raleigh Brewing Company. All yogis are welcome! You can also down dog with your dog; furry friends are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your mat so you can warrior pose while remembering our servicemen and servicewomen. Pints are available at noon, just in time to keep you flowing!

 

Fourth Annual Mickey's Memorial Monday Patio Party & Cookout
Drink Drank Drunk

May 28 | Noon - 10 p.m.
Cost: Free admission, $1 Mickey's Grenades, free burgers/hot dogs (while supplies last)

Start your Memorial Day off right by heading to Drink Drank Drunk's fourth annual Memorial Day patio party and show your appreciation for the servicemen and servicewomen who have become a part of the D3 family.

Open Mic Night at Lucky Tree Cafe

May 28 | 7 - 10 p.m.
What better way to end your Memorial Day Weekend than dropping by Lucky Tree Cafe for an open mic night? This platform welcomes your bold and original talent in poetry, spoken word, song and instruments of all kind. All artists and spectators are welcomed to come share and be inspired!
