‚ÄčMarchell Adams-David is the Assistant City Manager for Community in which she serves as a liaison to various departments including Emergency Communications and Management/Special Events, Housing and Neighborhoods, and Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources.

A North Carolina native and alumnus of UNC Chapel Hill, Marchell was awarded Region N Manager of the Year by the Lumber River Council of Governments in 2005, as well as Richmond County's NAACP Humanitarian of the Year in 2014. In additional to her professional life, Marchell serves on the North Carolina Arts Council Board of Directors and is a member of Richmond County's United Way's Emergency Food and Shelter Program.
