Live & Local: Earth Day 2016 was a FREE event held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Compiegne Park, located just off the 2300 block of Hillsborough Street. The event featured three stages, multiple bands, kids zone, bouncy houses, food trucks and environmental workshops. Live & Local: Earth Day 2016 was 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

SUSTAINABILITY
The Live & Local: Earth Day 2016 Sustainability mission is:
To provide Live & Local: Earth Day attendees with a fun and educational experience about environmental sustainability through local outreach, hands-on demonstrations, alternative transportation options, and waste reduction efforts.
We are using the Wolfpack Certified Sustainable event criteria, developed by the University Sustainability Office at NC State, in planning Live & Local: Earth Day 2016. Our goal is to achieve a level of "Champion."

VENDORS
Over 50 vendors will take part in Live & Local: Earth Day 2016. Our vendors have been carefully selected to offer our community the best in local arts, crafts and non-profit work. CLICK HERE for the full list of confirmed vendors.
