Andrew Stricklin

Director of Economic Development & Planning

Andrew Stricklin is the Director of Economic Development and Planning for Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation. With a blend of public and private sector experience at the intersection of transportation, technology, and economic development, Andrew is a results-driven leader in sustainable urban development.

Before moving to Raleigh, Andrew was Director of Customer Success for State and Local Government at Replica, where he advanced public sector market development. He also held leadership roles in proposal management and market development at Uber, focusing on electric bikes, scooters, and transit partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Andrew managed capital projects and spearheaded economic research initiatives for the Garment District BID in New York City. He also conducted an empirical study on building public trust for the LA River revitalization in the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Andrew holds a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA and a BA in English from the University of Florida.

In his spare time, Andrew likes to hike, read, and explore NC with his husband, Sabin, and rescue pup, Ridley.
