Tasty Tuesday: Hot Tomato Pizzeria

There can never be enough pizza, so says this intern.

For this week’s Tasty Tuesday, I went to the new pizzeria located right next to the Dixie Trail roundabout - Hot Tomato Pizzeria. Hot Tomato offers many pizza varieties, from the classic cheese to gourmet pies such as tandoori chicken pie and the margherita pizza. They also have an assortment of non-pizza options to try, from burgers and paninis to wraps and salads.

When I go to a new pizza place, I always get classic cheese. I was very excited to see the pizza by the slice special sign.  For $4.50 plus tax, you can have two slices of pizza and a can of soda. With tax, you can still cover everything for the $5 you found that morning. It was well worth the price, and they had all the classic pizza seasonings to add to pizza: red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, oregano pizza seasoning and/or garlic.

As a take out restaurant, Hot Tomato doesn’t have tables and chair inside to eat but, if you like to order in person, you will be greeted by friendly staff and receive fast service. You can also order Hot Tomato right to your door online or through your favorite food delivery app. If you order through Slicelife.com, you can get $3 off your first order and then take 15% off any following online orders.

Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch on the go or a fast delivery for your late-night study sessions, Hot Tomato Pizzeria has you covered!
