My name is Brett Burns, I am a senior in the Poole College of Management at NCSU studying finance. I'm particularly interested in big data analytics and financial modeling. I am currently working as an Economic Development Intern at HSCSC for the Fall 2018 semester.

I was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, which is just around an hour south of Raleigh. I've grown up an NC State fan and have been familiar with the Hillsborough Street community my entire life. I'm excited by the prospect of working for the development and revitalization of this area, and I hope to learn as much as possible while I'm an intern.
