Hey, my name is Veda. I am a senior at NCSU where I designed my own major through the independent study program. My major is called Building and Sustaining Healthy Communities and pulls together the fields of Public Health, Communication, Nonprofits, Architecture, and Horticulture, and I have completed a minor in Horticulture as well. I have been the president of SEVA Bhakti Yoga Club at NC State for three years and it’s one of my favorite engagements in school. Other than yoga and meditation, I like to play instruments, cook vegan food, hike, camp, and sing! I’m very happy to work with Live It Up! Hillsborough to learn more about our hyper-local communities and happenings.
