Wednesday, June 12
Get out of the heat this Wednesday night and enjoy the weekly Ridiculously Low-Priced Beer special all day at The Green Monkey or get your team together for pizza, liquor specials & Trivia Night at Brickhouse Sports Bar & Grille. You can also reserve a spot at the Gregg Museum of Art and Design for the 1pm guided tour of The Secrets of Stone Exhibit. Learn about the secret compartments and complex features incorporated into Tilden Stone’s furniture masterpieces in his “Southern Surreal” exhibit.
Thursday, June 13
Get ready for the weekend line up of arts events on Hillsborough Street. Theatre in the Park puts on its production, Of Good Stock by Melissa Ross, all weekend long where you'll follow the story of three sisters and their family baggage during a summer on the Cape Cod beach front. You can also catch Raleigh Little Theatre's musical Pippin this Thursday - Sunday. Heading to Goodnights Comedy Club is Dan Cummins: The Happy Murder Tour. Cummins is best known for his podcast, “Timesuck,” and captures his audiences with his relatable take on life as an average guy facing the world head on with humor. Cummins will be performing at Goodnights Thursday - Saturday night this weekend. Tickets can be bought in advance and picked up at the door.

Friday, June 14
Another production this weekend, Agatha Christie's: Go Back for Murder is showing this Friday-Sunday at Kennedy-MciIwee Studio Theatre on NC State Campus. This student mystery/thriller tells the story of Carla Crale as she defends the innocence of her late mother imprisoned for the murder of her father. Also happening Friday night is country singer/songwriter Priscilla Block live at CityBar Raleigh. Come join the party as Priscilla kicks off her Summer Tour in her hometown of Raleigh, NC!
Sad you could only make one production on Thursday night? Not to worry, Of Good Stock by Melissa Ross continues Friday night at Theatre in the Park, as does Pippin at Raleigh Little Theatre, and Dan Cummins: The Happy Murder Tour at Goodnights Comedy Club.
Don’t forget about some of our favorite weekly specials and events Friday nights on Hillsborough Street! Enjoy Friday specials and Karaoke with DJ Stevie B. at Brickhouse Sports Bar & Grille and join ComedyWorx at 10pm for The Harry Show, a late-night improv party.
Saturday, June 15
TheatreFESTival is happening this Saturday, June 15th from 1-5pm at Frank Thompson Hall on NC State’s campus. This event is a peek behind the curtain to see what goes into putting on a live production. Local theatre companies will be on site with information about current and upcoming productions, giveaways, live music and so much more! Catch any of the productions you missed over the weekend this Sunday. Melissa Ross’ Of Good Stock at Theatre in the Park, Pippin at Raleigh Little Theatre, and Agatha Christie's Go Back for Murder at Kennedy-MciIwee Studio Theatre. This will be the last weekend of shows for productions of Pippin and Go Back for Murder.
