President Jeff Murison to Lead NCDDA Board

Statewide Downtown Association Elects New Board Members
Salisbury, North Carolina – June 20, 2025 – The North Carolina Downtown Development Association membership recently elected 10 new members to the Board of Directors highlighted by the organization’s top positions; President and President-Elect. Jeff Murison, President & CEO of Hillsborough Street Community Services Corporation, which supports NC State University’s commercial district in Raleigh was elected as President, while Rick Thurmond, Chief Marketing Officer of Charlotte Center City Partners was elected to serve as President-Elect.
“We are looking forward to Jeff Murison’s leadership as President and we welcome all of the new board members that will support our organization’s mission,” said Kimberly Van Dyk of the City of Wilson, Past-President of NCDDA. The newly elected Board members will serve a two-year term beginning in July 2025.
