Spring Fest Kids Zone Activities

The Spring Fest Kids Zone will allow youngsters to channel their creative sides in our many craft stations, bounce to their heart's’ content on inflatables, blow giant bubbles, become works of art with face painting, and enjoy youth stage entertainment.

The Spring Fest Kids Zone craft stations include:

1. Seed Bombs

Kids can make their own wildflower Seed Bombs, made from clay, wildflower seeds, and soil, to take home and plant just in time for Earth Day. They are fun to make and a great, easy way to plant flowers in all kinds of places!

2. Spring Has Sprung Coloring Station

Kids will be able to let their creative sides spring to life as they color or create their own new creations.

3. Mini Beasts

Kids can let their imaginations take flight by creating their own unique insects.

4. Flower Power Crown/Garland Crafting

Kids can create their own flower crowns out of tissue and crepe paper to wear or hang on our Wish Tree.

5. Wish Tree

Kids can hang their wishes or paper flowers on our tree to create a blooming work of art!

6. Fossil Dig

Kids can learn what it’s like to be a paleontologist for the day by searching for fossils in kiddie pools filled with rocks and sand.

7. Blooming Birdfeeders

Kids can decorate their own birdfeeder and hang it outside of their homes to attract their own feathered friends.

8. Festival Jingle Hoops

Kids can have fun playing along with Spring Fest’s live music after creating their own musical bell hoops.

9. Festival Village

Enjoy our Kids Zone and Youth Stage in bloom by watching from our interactive piece of art with forts and hideaways!

10. We Are One Weaving

Everyone can participate in crafting a one of a kind piece of art by working with other community members on the same fabric.
