Description: This project will modify Hillsborough Street from the existing configuration of a multi-lane undivided roadway section to a two lane road with: Raised medians, marked bike lanes, on-street parking where feasible, from Gardner Street to the Rosemary/ Shepherd Street intersection, includes proposed roundabouts at Brooks Avenue, Dixie Trail and Rosemary/Shepherd Streets. The work scope will include engineering design, surveying, subsurface utility engineering, streetscape design, right of way/easement plats, and bidding/contract services to provide construction drawings suitable for letting the project.
