A native of Pennsylvania, Saige grew up in Bucks County and invested in activism, the arts, and community service. He received his undergraduate degree in cultural anthropology from Hawai'i Pacific University in Honolulu, HI. His professional work includes the United Nations where he traveled to more than 20 countries before taking a position at UN headquarters in New York. Saige moved to Raleigh in 2014 and has been involved in political and communications consulting and community organizing. He will graduate from N.C. State University's College of Design with a Master's Degree in Art and Design in May 2020. His personal and professional life revolves around community organizing, engagement, and activism to build more resilient communities. He brings this same passion and commitment to his service on Raleigh City Council where he was elected to serve District D in 2019.
