Art Spotlight: Groove in the Garden

Category: Hillsborough Street Blog

A celebration of homegrown music

Returning for its fifth year, Raleigh Little Theatre hosts Groove in the Garden on Saturday, Sept. 21 in the Raleigh Rose Garden and the Stephenson Amphitheatre. This one-day music festival features eight of the best local acts on two different stages from 2pm until 8pm.

In addition to both stages, this event features food trucks, a vendor village and a kids zone. Beer and wine will be available for sale at the event - outside alcohol is not allowed, but you may bring your own non-alcoholic drinks into the venue (just not in a glass bottle)! You can also bring your own food to eat.

The event is open to the whole family, including your dog members so long as they stay on a leash and well behaved. Advance tickets are $15 per person (children 5 & under free). If you wait to buy your ticket at the gate, the price goes up to $20 per person.

With options for everyone and a sunny & 85° day in the forecast, go ahead and make your plans to spend Saturday groovin' in the garden!
